Indiana names new Boating Law Administrator
Major Brian Bailey began his career in 2006 as an Indiana Conservation Officer assigned to Owen County. Later, he transferred to Monroe County in south-central Indiana. In 2016, he was promoted to corporal of Operational District 6, and in 2022, he assumed the role of communications commander.
In October 2023, Bailey was promoted to his current position as Support Services Major. In January 2024, Maj. Bailey took on the Boating Law Administrator duties following the retirement of Lt. Kenton Turner.
Maj. Bailey is a member of the SCUBA team, a STOPS instructor, and an active member of the Peer Support Team. Since 2020, he has also served as a NASBLA instructor.
