Before entering the field of boating education, Captain Glenn Dean worked as the Director of Safety and Compliance in Property Management. During this period, he obtained a license as an Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) outreach trainer.
After two decades in the Property Management industry, Dean redirected his career towards his lifelong passion for boating. Embarking on a new path, he established a private company dedicated to providing Boating Education and training for the State of Connecticut. Throughout this journey, he has played a pivotal role in assisting thousands of boaters in obtaining their Connecticut Safe Boating Certificate. n 2022, Dean earned his Captain credential, a significant accomplishment he had pursued for a long time.
In an effort to offer education on a national scale, Captain Dean has taken on the challenge of creating and developing generic courses in paddling, towing, and personal watercraft safety.
