Phoebe Wallace, CRBP

On February 22, 2024, Phoebe Wallace of the Idaho Department of Parks & Recreation passed the Certified Recreational Boating Professional (CRBP) exam, earning her CRBP certification. The National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) is pleased to recognize Phoebe Wallace as one of the recent achievers of the CRBP credential.

The CRBP certification, developed by NASBLA, is a voluntary credential for recreational boating professionals that encompasses knowledge, performance, and career achievements in specific program domains.

Wallace grew up in Boise, Idaho, enjoying the inland reservoirs, abundant rivers, and high mountain lakes nearby. After earning her bachelor's degree in Boise, she moved to Maui, Hawai'i, where she worked as a deckhand and first mate on snorkel and whale watch tour boats for nearly five years. During her tenure on Maui, she also earned her 100-ton Master Merchant Mariner Credential (Captain's License).

Upon returning to Boise in 2018, Wallace began her career in Idaho State Government, first working in aquatic invasive species and noxious weed survey/management, then in public relations, and finally, was selected as Idaho's Boating Law Administrator in 2022.

Wallace is passionate about providing safe and plentiful access to boating opportunities and sharing her love for being on the water.

Join NASBLA in extending congratulations to Phoebe Wallace for earning the designation of Certified Recreational Boating Professional!
