Vessel Identification, Registration & Titling

GAO is conducting an audit of NVDC operations so as to identify key factors and challenges that affect certificate of documentation processing times and to report on any management initiatives underway or to address any challenges. The GAO team is meeting with representatives of select state vessel title/registration agencies to obtain additional input. This team connected with Massachusetts in December and discussed in detail each question on their survey. I am posting the Registration Agency Question Sheet that the GAO team provided with Massachusetts' (short answers) response. Please remember each question was discussed in detail with the GAO team.
