    The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) is looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working leader to direct

    and manage the

    Bureau of Boating, focused on all things boating-related. Pennsylvania's robust recreational boating safety program serves a diversity of motorboat and non-powered boat operators and ensures a variety of safe and enjoyable boating opportunities exist on publicly accessible rivers, creeks, lakes, and reservoirs. Pennsylvania is also a national leader in delivering water rescue training programs to first responders. We are looking for the right person to continue the many existing, successful programs and to innovate and create new programs aligned with changing trends in boating activity to further enhance recreational boating safety.

    The Director of the Bureau of Boating plans, directs, and coordinates a comprehensive statewide program for boating that includes boating law administration, boating safety education, water safety, water rescue, public boating access, and waterways and marina management. In this position, you will direct a bureau of professional, technical, and clerical staff including the Waterways and Marina Management Division and the Boating and Watercraft Safety Division.
